Thoughts:
Another great continuation from the series so far. He keeps getting me. With his twist and turns that I just don't know what to expect anymore. I love the writing that Williamson does in his stories.

I really can express much about the story because it will ruin any twist in the story. Which is amazing to discover during the process. That is another thing with Williamson. His story always have a twist.

The only downfall I think is that you have questions and he ends up leaving you with a lot more and not answering you the previous ones. But at the same time you are still invested in the story. You are addicted. You can't stop reading the story because you just want to know and hoping that your questions will be answer.

If you like fantasy novels this is a great read. Also if you a Brandon Sanderson fan this is a great comic book series to pic up.

Thoughts: This being the second volume of Lemires and Perez run I wasn't really happy going into it. Still feeling the lost of Matt Fraction and David Aja run. The run that made me love Hawkeye as a character and introducing me to his other half Kate Bishop, a kick as female character also with the alias of Hawkeye. But I think that this volume did amazingly well in bringing back what Fraction and Aja did in their run. Focusing on the characters themselves.

I was very hesitated in reading this volume but am happy I did. It gave me more of a background of the characters when they were younger which I did like. It also changed something I thought was happening in the last volume and was happy that it really didn't happened. That is the part I didn't like what they were making us believe that was going to happen that was throwing me off from finishing the run.

But I do recommend to reading this volume if you would like to get more insight in the characters pass and to just all in love with these two Hawkeyes friendship. Because the friendship between these two I think is what makes the story amazing.

Right now I am just waiting to see what happens after Civil War II event to be over to see what happens to these characters and where they are going to be after. Let's see who takes up the writing and the art of these amazing characters that are just human and want to do good in the world. Hoping for some more Hawkeye in the future.

Thoughts

If you like horror I think you will enjoy this comic a lot. I have read Joshua Williamson's currently running comic book Birthright and I am loving every single thing of it right now. I needed to get my hands on something else that he has written. Nailbiter just came out with this special Hardcover edition of it's first 10 issues and I couldn't help it and graved myself a copy of it. I wasn't disappointed at all. This new series is just amazing. Now I am trying to get my hands at anything that Williamson writes.

This book is good to read in trades. I don't think I would have been able to read this as single issues. Each issue would have been horrible to wait for. The mystery behind the series pulls you into the story. The art in the story is great. Perfect for the story but it's really gory. If you don't really like seeing cruel gory things than this comic book series may not be for you.

What draws me into the story is the mystery of the town. Which is what the story is about. How did this town have created so many serial killers? That itself is what intrigues me about the mystery of the story. How is it that so many people in a town became such cruel people. If you like the mystery and the phycology of it all. The ending of this volume left me in a clip hanger.

I like the flow of the series also. It doesn't feel like it's dragging or if it's just being slowed down. It's a great read and recommend people to read it if you like horror novels and horror films.

Thoughts: I really can't say much about this issue because it will spoiled to story line for people that haven't read this ahead in the story. But I just have to say that I completely love this series. What Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples have create is just incredible. It just makes you wonder what else they could create together.

From the amazing story line to the breath taking art this book has everything. I love that what this story capture is what a family is willing to do to stay together. To keep the hope alive that they will be together no matter what.

If you are not reading this yet. Please pick it up. But do keep in mind that this does have adult themes and graphical images so it may not be for everyone if your not comfortable in those certain themes.

Thoughts: What can I say about Paper Girls other than I am loving this series so far. I think that by this point Brian K. Vaughan can't do any wrong in my book. I have been devouring anything that I can get my hands on by him. His story telling in comics is so different and outside of the box.

I can't wait to get my hand on every issue in this series so far. I am always thinking and theorizing what will come next and when I get the issue is something completely different than what I expected. I like that you really don't know what is going on and in every issue you discover something new. I also love that it's set in 1988 (year I was born), another thing to love about it.

The art and the coloring in this book is just beautiful. It's a perfect balance. I am always so excited to see the colors that are use in this book. They are not drown in your face and it's just perfect for the story.

If you are not picking up this book yet. Please do because it's just amazing. And if you are waiting for the trade it will be coming out April 5th (amazon). I completely recommend to pick up. It's something you will not be expecting at all.
